5 items meme

I’ve been tagged (read her meme here) by the lovely Alison at Alithinks. It only took me two days to do the meme as opposed to a couple weeks the last time I was tagged for a meme. We’ve been a busy family lately. So, I was impressed with myself.

We’ve went walking and have taken the kids to the park almost every single day. I love walking and hope to get off the rest of my “baby fat” soon. It’s hanging on as “love handles”. The problem is I’m not lovin’ it so much. It’s the last bit that is the hardest to get off.

Anyways….Here is my 5 items meme.

5 items in my fridge

  1. cheese - lots and lots of cheese (La vache qui rit, Munster Gerome, Brebiou, Emmental, Kiri, fromage blanc)
  2. Yogurt - lots of yogurt (Yoplait nature sucre, Panier de Yoplait, Mon premier Gervais, chocolate pudding - I know it’s not yogurt but my husband tells me all the time that it’s the same thing)
  3. cornichons
  4. lardon
  5. Salsa for burritos (Yum.)

5 items in my closet

  1. skirts
  2. jeans
  3. teeshirts
  4. various socks, bras and undies
  5. yes, I do have some sexy things (even a mother of four children enjoys lace…besides how do you think I got four kids?!?)

5 items in my car

  1. water bottle of Evian or Vittel (always)
  2. maps (France, Alsace and Switzerland)
  3. 3 car seats in the back
  4. pacifiers (I know there are many hidden in the seats because the kids go in with them and come out without at least once a week. Well, it’s either that the pacifiers are hidden in the car or the kids are throwing them out the window.)
  5. napkins (I steal borrow them by the handfull each time we eat out somewhere)

5 items in my purse

  1. lotion
  2. makeup (Yves Rocher lipstick, Covergirl compact)
  3. trucs pour bébés-things for babies (paper and pen for drawing, snacks, bandaids, emergency pacifier)
  4. wallet
  5. mouchoirs (tissues)

5 people I’m tagging

  1. Carra - Around the world in beautiful shoes
  2. Jessica - 4213 miles
  3. Pam - American spoken here
  4. Kim - A frog hopped into our lives
  5. Meredith - Found in France
  6. A novelist - All that you can’t leave behind

Let me know if anyone else wants to do it and I will add your name here. It was alot of fun. I didn’t realize my children had taken over my purse until I looked inside while doing this meme. If I tagged you and you don’t want or can’t do the meme - TOO BAD! - No really, that’s ok. Don’t worry about it. :)

Once again, I am reminded of the old Be Careful What You Wish For…I was just contemplating my next post, with not a whole lot to say! : )

Thanks for the tag. I laughed about the pacifiers. I used to bulk buy those and scatter them about the house, the cribs and car, so we would always have one handy. But one time, my daughter did throw the last one we had out the window of the car, on a small country road in Provence. We were desperate enough to turn the car around, and go back and look for it. We found it :)

Alison, I never knew about lardons until we moved to France. Now, I am wondering why the heck they aren’t sold in the States because they are heaven on earth while they are being cooked. I love the smell…better than bacon.

    Pam, :)

Meredith, Pacifiers are a blessing in disguise. ;) I have stopped my car in America many times to search for the pacifier. Now, I just search with my arm from the front seat. Recently, Petite Clown threw her pacifier out of the window on the highway, so , we couldn’t turn back. She screamed for over half and hour all the way back home. I completely understand why you would turn around and search for it!

Carra and all tagged…looking forward to reading your posts. It is kinda like visiting your house and peeping into your closet, fridge, and purse…all the things we aren’t able to do but are nosey enough to think about it!
