A fun day out as a family

More photos from Sunday.

My boys
My husband had just slid down a mountain of snow as my son was starting to climb up it. He landed right in front of my son. They were both surprised and laughed afterwards.

Families sledding
Families brought their sleds with them. I was sorry we didn’t think to bring ours.

My two youngest girls
My two youngest girls ran on, rolled in and slid all over the snow the entire day.

A photo of our shadows as my husband and I walked together.

Snow Angel
I had to make at least one snow angel with my kids.

Our train
On the way back by train (this same train) I could see all of our snow angels and hearts that we had made in the snow by the tracks.

Laying on the snow
My daughter fell onto the snow and told me, “Mama, I love the snow!”.

The Jura
The flag of the Canton of the Jura painted on the side of a wall.

I love how you embrace winter rather than hiding indoors from the cold. The picture of the train is spectacular!

in ohio we had 4 inches of snow. by morning we may have up to 8 inches. that will be a lot of snow . i dont like a lot of snow. too cold. with my grandchildren it could be fun to have snow ball fights or making snowmen. but 1 or 2 months are enough. i love the warmer weather like in florida. wish i was there having fun with all of you.

    love mom

It really is so beautiful here that I can’t help but like winter. Plus, it is not nearly as cold here is Ohio where I grew up! The wind in Ohio will freeze you to death.

We did and I hope it is nice this weekend so perhaps we can sled with the kids and take a long walk.

We wish you were here with us too. :)
