An afternoon in the city

We took the train to Bienne on Sunday. It was nice to get out of the Jura for the day. We didn’t actually visit Bienne much but walked to Nidau which touches Bienne.

We ate sandwiches by the fountain in Bienne before walking to Nidau.

A leaf caught in a web.  It looks like it is floating in the air.

Bienne, Switzerland

There were so many boats on the river.

There were spiders hanging everywhere.  It is a good thing I am not as afraid of them as I used to be.

Graffiti art.

Frenchless in France is a beautiful blog about life in France.  Linda’s photos are some of the best.  You must visit her archives to get a good taste of her adventures.

Thank you for the nice compliment. I assume you know that my son and his family now live in Switzerland too-in Lugano- and are all learning Italian.

I thought about you that day because I know you like that area. One of these days we are going to have to meet!!!

I didn’t realize your son lived in Switzerland. That is great. I have been through the Italian part once and it was so beautiful. We would love to get a chance to see it again.
