She is not a baby any longer. She is a beautiful young lady. It amazes me that my daughter is getting almost as tall as I am. In a couple years, I will have to look up instead of down to see her sweet face.
I am proud and sad all at the same time when I see how big she is getting.
All those little bits of time and memories together become more and more precious as she gets older and older.

She is so pretty — I know you must be proud. And she looks a lot like you! :-)

Cathy Y,
I am proud. I thought she looked alot like me too in this picture. She has my hair but hers is curly. She looks alot like her father, too. When he and I were dating in college many people thought we were brother and sister because we resembled each other.

Pumpkin, your daughter is very beautiful. I have one question though… Didn’t Angel Girl say last year to you, that if you lived in Switzerland she’d move in to live with you?

She did. We’ll see how she likes it this winter. I think she will come at Christmas for a visit. At twelve the courts put alot of weight in her wishes and at fourteen she can legally decide for herself. As much as I want her here with me, I want her to be where she wants to be. I know that is with both her father and I (same city or close by) but that is impossible. It is not easy for her. She is a strong and wonderful girl. I am proud of her.

Pumpkin, I admire you for your strenght. I must admit, when I was growing up I had no choice but to be brought up by my mother and that wasn’t fair as I rarelly got to see my father and was brainwashed to hate him.
You are being a perfect parent, by allowing your daughter to choose.

I don’t think I am perfect. It is a diffulcult situation. Angel is what is important.
But, thank you for your kind words.
