Being happy

My new line of attack is the same one that I used against simple and little mean minds in the States…KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS. Always has worked for me and I am sure it will continue to do so.

Really just amazed at the complete and total rudeness of some people in this village. I would feel sorry for them if they weren’t adults and SHOULD know better by now. I can’t go into the little things I see or hear on a daily basis from the same groups of people but seriously they need to get out of this village more. They are clearly bored out of their minds. Or…Just crazy. Perhaps…inbred. Just kidding!!!! :D

I love living here. BUT. Some people in this village are simply too much for me. If I had a totally anonymous blog (no one would ever know it was me…EVER) I would write some pretty darn entertaining (AND TRUE) stories.  As it is, Vilay gets to hear all my adventures in small village land.

I SO need a job!

I think it is partially part of the Swiss mindset. Some people who are Swiss are just plain GRUMPS! I am convinced BEING Grumpy is a duty they must bestow on every person in the Country. But there are others who are so opposite and so inviting and so amazing. It’s just the challenge to find those people and weed them out so that you can lead a happy life! Ignore the rest and make them jealous that you are happy. :) I’m cheering for ya for the job. In the mean time I’ll keep enjoying your photos.

You know I think that you are right in a big sense. I have found that people are super nice but you really need to watch your back if you know what I mean.

Adding that I don’t think all Swiss are like that but some. Actually, I think that no matter what country you live in you will find the same kind of people. I think that is why the Swiss don’t let people in right away. They are smart in letting some time go by before opening up to someone. It takes a lot of risk out of getting burned by someone that really shouldn’t have been trusted. I am finding that I have begun to be more cautious about what I tell to whom and I think that it is the best thing I could have done for myself. I was too American before. I let people in my life right away and they weren’t all deserving of that. I have learned my lesson. Now, I stay away from those bad apples and only talk to them when I have to. It makes life easier.

Blogging has its ups and downs for sure. Life is like that too. We just go with it. I have several times in the past thought I would stop blogging but in the end I knew I never would. At least not any time soon.

Always do what YOU need to do. All the rest will fall in place.
