We have been busy around here with work, school and daily life. There is always cooking, baking and cleaning to do not to mention children to chase after.
I have been preparing for a new job that I don’t want to write about here for obvious reasons. I will work one night a week and am still searching for a full-time job. I plan on working both.
We are excited to be moving forward with our life in Switzerland. It has taken time to get this far and we will need to be patient a little longer before we will be able to pull ourselves up out of living from check to check.
No matter what happens we are happy. Our life here is full of simple joy that money has nothing to do with. Little things make us the happiest.
I can’t tell you how much I love the sky here.
I think that this mill is interesting in a photographic way. I have taken many photos of it to try to match what I saw in my head but this is the only photo that has came close. In my opinion, it is the blue in the center that makes the photo.
A train passed by. The driver waved in greeting as we waved back.
Another day slipping behind the horizon.
We returned home to take baths, brush teeth and dress for bed. I tucked in each of my children before kissing them goodnight. My five year old and I whispered together for a long sweet moment before she gave me a hard hug around the neck with a big “I love you, Mama!” and rolled over to fall asleep.

How about voting on the European Union referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, the New Zealand parliamentary election or the Romanian parliamentary election?
Now, you can.

I love that first cloud photo, it is so beautiful! You guys are beyond lucky to live where you live and to enjoy the amount of walking and seeing Switzerland. Some people will never see as much as you’ve seen in a lifetime that you have done in a year!
My heart melts, I want to be there too! Thanks for the well wishes on my move. I will have great photos! :)
How strange that I would choose to write on a similar topic today! It’s always difficult to deal with monetary issues when there are so many things that must be done and many more that you want to do! Luckily, you are living in such a beautiful place–a constant reminder to keep going!
Expatraveler,
We are lucky. That I do not take forgranted. I am looking forward to your photos!!!
Marchel,
I read your post. It was very moving. Thank you for stopping by and you are right about my surroundings keeping me going.
