Princess shoes

My four year loves these shoes.  If I even hint that I may throw them out she will beg me not to.  She has even went so far as to hide them under her bed!
With the weather getting colder, I have been able to convince her that it isn’t really wise to wear her [...]

Our Heart String

I forgot how much work setting up a new blog can be.  Finding a template was the hardest considering how long the photos were side by side.  The photos broke most every theme that is available on WordPress.com.  There is one photo blog theme available but it doesn’t have a sidebar and we wanted one. Stripes for a Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday!!!
My girls are on Autumn Break for the next two weeks starting tomorrow.  I hope to get to sleep in some during that time.
Maybe, tomorrow morning?  I know it is wishful thinking with three little ones but it sure would be nice.

Since living in Europe, I have had to learn to make pumpkin pie completely from scratch. There are no cans of pumpkin that I can pick up from the grocery.

Unexpected Treasures

In our lives, we will always find unexpected treasures to carry with us always.
Some of those treasures are small and we toss them without care into our bag of life.  Other treasures are fine and beautiful and we tuck them away in our pockets ever so carefully so that we can quickly find them when [...]

Singing in the rain

We took a walk in the rain yesterday. I drug out the winter coats for the kids which are waterproof and warm. With the rain it is starting to get cold outside.
Last night, we shut our bedroom window for the first time in months.

Both of us

One of us ignores the dishes from lunch…

…while we play with cars on the floor.

One of us remembers that they need to go potty right before we head out the door…

…while one of us collects the keys.

One of us likes to pull their digger behind them…

…while one of us thinks it is too cute not [...]

Lego fun

I found a daily photo blog called a Lego a day recently while searching around Google after I shot a photo of my kids Legos.  Each day I look forward to checking in on these little guys to see what they have been up to.
My five year old daughter and son were bored since their [...]
