06.10.06Heart sings in the sunAs I am sitting here enjoying this blissfull moment of quiet (meaning no screaming children), I can actually hear the birds chirping away right outside our window. I hear car doors shutting and cars driving by. I can see the green of leaves being tickled gently from underneath by the breeze. It is heavenly. 06.09.06Window shoppingAs I walked past this store window near Petite France in Strasbourg, I saw nothing interesting at first glace. When I looked deeper inside the store I saw the chairs hanging from the ceiling and then the baskets sitting in the front window. I saw charm and time resting together inside. 06.06.06The Pagan wall (Le mur païen)- VosgesThe iron age pagan wall was built around 4000 BC. However, there is no real way to know how or when this wall was really built. You can still run your fingers inside the fittings for the wood used to hold the wall together. The wood is long gone but the space for the fittings are left behind.

06.05.06I love the VosgesThe plain of Alsace from the Vosges The trail we were walking on A cave Grotte des Druides (Cave of Druids) Crash site of plane in 1992. There was a fence protecting the site which was covered in wooden crosses made from sticks. We were surprised to see that it had been taken down. This is a picture that we took this past winter of the crash site when the fence was still there. My husband thinks that these rocks were used for some kind of religious ceremony. 06.04.06Like mother, like daughterIt's been a little busy since Angel Girl came. At the moment, all three of my girls are sitting at the kitchen table drawing and coloring with markers and coloring pencils. Boy Blue is snoozing peacefully for once. 06.03.06Quick! Let’s go to QuickThe other day it was raining just like every other day this past week. Our children have been enjoying the park in between drops of rain. No such break in falling drops to be had the other day. So, we did what any parent with half a brain does.
