Christmas spirit

by Pumpkin on December 7, 2008

My children LOVE Christmas.

In fact, my six year old daughter talks about Christmas all throughout the year. “How much longer until Christmas, Mama?”, she asks at least once a month.

Today, we treated our children to a Christmas market.

They were so happy to be there.  My six year old daughter kept giving me these huge bear hugs.  My five year old daughter giggled with happiness as we went from one stall to the next.  My son didn’t stop talking about this and that along the way.

We had a great day full of Christmas spirit.

Who can guess what Swiss city the Christmas market was in that we visited today?

See the photos below for clues.

How beautiful. I used to love going to those markets. Sheesh, I think my first guess is wrong, in that it’s not Basel. My only guess is Neuchatel and I’m not even sure it’s that… It appears to possibly be that Neuchatel… (I’ve yet to visit and have only seen that view via the train.)

So where is it? It’s beautiful!

Expatraveler,

It is Basel! :) Your first guess was right on the mark.

Yeah – I shouldn’t second guess myself! Oh what a great post, must run and see more of the new one.
