Collecting fall

by Pumpkin on September 23, 2008

We collected pine cones in the forest during our Sunday walk.

To distract my son from wanting me to carry him, Vilay gave him a large stick. Within five minutes each child had a huge branch that they drug behind them. They drug those branches for most of the walk only stopping to poke at various objects on the ground. Since one of the branches resembled a broom, it is safe to say that the dirt road we were on has been well swept.

The air was crisp and cold and the wind blew our faces red as it carried the smells of the forest to us.
