I tend to speak more in French with Vilay after a couple glasses of wine. I agree that it has something to do with my defenses being down. I don’t THINK so much about what I am saying and I talk freely.

My big laundry day when I lived in the States was Sunday. I still did little loads during the week. Generally, I don’t mind laundry. However, I miss the convenience and privacy of doing laundry in my own apartment.

I must be crazy because I love doing laundry. It’s instant gratification- dirty clothes in, clean clothes out. Friday is my wash day. I do all the laundry for the 4 of us all on one day- so I know it can get kind of crazy. However, I have my own washer/dryer in my basement. That makes life A LOT easier. I wasn’t too fond of doing laundry at NIU because I’d have to go sit in the dorm basement, usually studying, while it was all washing. However, there were 8 washing machines. You could do a ton at once. (granted, you don’t have that much laundry in a dorm to do!)

You know, it’s funny that your French flows when you’re angry. I’m pretty good after I’ve had a drink or two. I wonder if it’s because our defenses are down and we’re not too worried about making a mistake? Who knows?

I can’t believe this chick. I’m sure she knew she was in the wrong, but never expected anyone to call her on it! Good for you.

Laundry is no fun and it would pass faster with someone else to do it with. :)
