We have some just like this (from Ikea), but I have so much trouble getting the lid to screw on/unscrew. It's as if the threads are either not made properly or the plastic lid just doesn't want to twist properly. Any hints as to how you get yours to work? And I really enjoyed the reminiscing about cookie jars between you and your mom. I remember the one in my grandmother's house. How I loved that cookie jar! (Maybe more than the cookies!) It was shaped like a gingerbread house, and you lifted off the roof to get out a cookie. I wonder where it is. I want to have a picture of it. The cookies look yummy!
