Drawer in the woods

We were taking a walk in the mountains.

When we stumbled upon a magical drawer inside a fallen tree.

Inside the drawer lies a riddle. Can you solve it?

Here is another log with a hole for a drawer. On our next walk here I hope to find a new drawer placed inside this log. My fear is that someone stole the drawer that was already there.
