Feeling Froggy

Boy Blue was sporty his Frog Wear the other day because it was that cold outside.

He looks so good in his froggy gear! I’m just amazed at the weather, though. I had heard that Europe was having a cold and rainy summer, but I didn’t imagine it was that cold! Could you send ome of it this way? We are having a drought and just came off of a heat wave where the high was around 106 F (41.1 C) with the heat index even higher than that!

How adorable is that! What a great kid shot to you!

Oh oh oh – I see citrouille on your photo album. Yeah!

Cathy, The day I took this photo it felt cold but it was a rainy day too. It had stopped during the time we bought groceries. I don’t miss all that heat and humidity in the States. I had forgotten about it while living in France. As soon as we stepped out of the airport of Cincy it hit me. But, I also remember seeing the big light blue sky! :)

    Expatraveler,
Yes, I bought the most beautiful pumpkin! Today I will buy the cream for baking it. I am excited. I love the frog hat and mittens we bought Boy Blue in the States. It gets pretty darn cold in Ohio in the winter. So, at least I am prepared for the Jura. :)

    Leesa,
Thank you for visiting. I’ll be over to visit you too. :)
I love Boy Blue’s hat and gloves!!! Lucky for me he likes them too and loves to wear them never trying to take them off.

I took a bunch of pictures during the whole ‘making a pumpkin pie from scratch’ experience and will be posting about it sometime this week with recipe. However, the crust recipe I have isn’t any good. It is the second recipe I have tried so maybe it is me??? I hope not because I love pie. I’ll have to try once with a pumpkin tarte recipe…I did see one once online in French. :)
