Good start to the week

The lines to dry clothes outside have been put back up. Yippee! There is sun. Yippee! The kids are back in school after a two week Easter break. Yippee! We have found several nice and affordable apartments in Bienne, La Chaux-de-fonds and even Neuchâtel. Yippee!

We are keeping our options open on where we relocate. Vilay really loves Bienne. I am fine with Bienne but I think that La Chaux-de-fonds is more affordable for us. Neuchâtel is always my first choice but Vilay thinks daycare is impossible to find there.

No matter where we end up, I want a nice apartment in a good (normal) area.  I want to stay there until we are able to buy our own apartment or house (if we are lucky enough to do that someday).

Whatever city we relocate to will be our home for many years to come (at least until the kids finish school).  If not for the rest of our lives.

It is important where we go next.

Very important.

I have found that ironing calms me.

Big windows make me happy with all the sunshine that spills into the rooms from them.

I adore how cats tails curl around the most unexpected things.

Have a great week!!!!

I’m sure the best city and fit for you will be the one that you get. Remember go where the jobs could be for you too! I have only passed through by train to La Chaux-de-fonds many times, and it’s so beautiful for that one slight sweep of a glance…

My Monday went like yours, I was happy. I got my passport back within 2 wks, yes 2 wks! And I did not pay for rush fees.

Good luck for the next step, it looks like you are very happy about it.
    I love Neuchatel a lot!

As Expatgirl says, the one you get shall be the proper one. I love Neuchâtel, Bienne as a second choice, and la Chaux-de-Fonds… a bit less, but the surroundings are quite beautiful there. Good luck !

Thank you all for your input because I know most of you know all of these cities. I personally am for Neuchâtel. I think that Bienne is good for my kids to learn German and learn (hopefully) some Swiss German. La Chaux-de-fonds is where we will go if nothing else works out since there are many more apartments available there than the other cities.
