Happy to be home

The photo above was taken in a Czech café located in Prague. It was one of the very few places to eat that we could find were the prices were fair. The food and coffee were good and the restrooms were free which is a HUGE deal in Prague. We have to find the name of the café so that I can refer others there.

I did find out the hard way that you must let Czech coffee sit until all the coffee grounds settle to the bottom of the cup. :)

We made it home on Friday. Since then we have been cleaning out the suitcases and bags. We did make it to Neuchâtel for the fireworks on Friday night to celebrate Swiss National holiday.

The photo above is of the Prague Astronomical Clock (Prague Orloj).

I will spend the next few days putting up favorite photos from our trip and answering comments and emails. I am sorry that I didn’t think about arranging a place to meet some of you in Strasbourg beforehand. I promise that next time I am there I will make sure to do that.

I am exhasted and can’t tell you how happy I am to be home. I really missed the Jura.

Lovely photo of the clock. Oh, I just love Prague. I’d go back in a heartbeat :)

    Caffienated Cowgirl,
I would have liked to have stayed a few more days to see some of the things we missed. It rained some of the days so we had to find indoor things to do and the kids got tired of walking which slowed us down. They kept wanting to go back to the village to play with their Czech cousins!

I would like to go back but without the kids and perhaps at Christmas time…not on Christmas but around that time of the year.
