Hauling away the snow

Cleaning up the snow and hauling it off in a truck!!!

I took this photo at the train station in our village.

The smaller vehicle is picking up the snow and blowing it out the top into the back of a dump truck.

How crazy is that!

We have that much snow and it is still snowing.

It has been for two days!

We have HUGE mounds of snow already at the train station.  Last year, the workers came and broke down the mounds to haul away much to the dismay of the village children.  The kids love to climb up the mounds and slide down.  The only problem is the road is just on the other side!  It makes me nervous.   I let my kids climb on one side but not all the way up to the top where they may fall into the road.

If they don’t listen they don’t have the right to get on the snow mound for a whole day.  It is torture for them to watch the other kids climbing and sliding without them.

I’ll try to get a photo of that next!   The snow mound…not the kids falling into the road.  :)

That is hilarious. I would’ve started laughing.

It was strange the first time I saw it last year. It is really the best way to get rid of all the snow. The snow was getting out of control in the parking lot of the train station with no where to really push it to anymore so the only solution is to haul it away! :)
