May 8th, Fête de la Victoire 1945 (V-E day or Victory Day), is a national holiday in France celebrating the end of WWII.
Out of respect for the soldiers who died during the liberation of France and Europe in WWII from the Nazi regime, I have put up a picture of the French flag as my header to this blog.
France remains today due to the sacrifice of these men. I would like to thank all of them no matter what country they came from for making it possible for my family to live in France today.
Thank you.

What a lovely tribute.
i was going to go to that first comment slot, but thought i’d be nice enough to give someone else the precious title for the day:D hehe, just teasing:) I feel like its the special parking spot in the front of the building!!
