Kids say and do the darndest things

I have had more than my share of good laughs at the expense of my children. All parents do. They are just too funny and too darn cute that we can’t help it.

I don’t want to forget these funny moments.

So, I have started a static page called Kid tales and it can be found at the top of my blog under the title with my about, 44 things, video and links.

I have only one little story for the moment about Angel Girl. Over time I will add the funnier tales that I can remember and record current tales. One day I can read them all with my children and we can have a great big bunch of laughs together. Angel Girl loves to hear the funny things she did or said when she was younger over and over. Even now, she will say and do some pretty darn funny things at 10.

I’ll be sure to include all the best tummy ticklers.

If you like to read funny things kids say or see the world through a kids eyes, you are welcome to check back to this page again and again for updates.

I love my blog. It is such a great way for me to record my childrens lives and to go back to revisit those times.

My ex and I kept a list of the funny things our kids said. It’s a great idea because you don’t remember this stuff (even if you think you will!)

Exactly! I was trying to remember more things to write down and couldn’t and got a bit depressed about it. So, when I do remember them I will write here right away or as soon they say them.

You are so smart to have thought of it beforehand. I can only imagine how much fun it is to read and have those memories come flooding back to you.

ahhh I love kids’ logic… It is sometimes so logical that you have the hardest time explaining to them how it really works.

My mom told me that when she was pregnant with my brother, a lady, that I assume was fat, asked me (4yo at the time) if I would give her my little brother as she was all alone. And me to reply very angry, NO, why dont you take the one you have in your tummy… ooops

See! Your mother probably still laughs at that one. I know I would.

What a great idea…I have forgotten so many things…the one that I DO remember is just a word…”Muzigit” – for music….Nathan just couldn’t say music. And once (when he was 3) he asked very loudly why “that lady is wearing a cat on her head”….she had on a fur hat…it was hysterical at the time as we were in a group and everybody heard him.

I’ve been think for some time about doing a blog just about the boys…maybe I should think more seriously about it – it’s such a precious time in their lives.

    Wendy,
I even smiled at the “muzigit” and cat story. I love to read funny things kids say in the back of mom magizines. Kids are really funny and they are so smart.
