Actually, my kids are 4, 3, and 2. They are still young but they're set for language. English is who they are as much as French is. If your children are speaking English as much as their second language and you continue with them in English they will be fine. :) Cathy, I think they are afraid of the ribbons or they don't understand that all they have to do is walk through? I just happened upon your blog while looking for some other stuff, and I really like it! I'm married to an American, and we live in Norway with two kids. You probably know this already, but Norway looks like a colder version of Switzerland, minus the wildest of the alps. My husband and I are musicians, and we have worked together in Switzerland quite a bit, and he lived in France for 6 years before we met. I read your entry on bilingual children and loved it. I'm very happy to read that it's going well for your small ones. Ours are smaller, 3 and 0,5, so we're still waiting to see how things will turn out. I'm going to continue reading your blog, I really like your writing and the photos! We got Sweet Bear some snow boots since she goes to school and next month we'll buy for the other two. I will need to decide if it is worth buying all the kids snow suits since last winter everyone tells me there wasn't much snow.
