Life isn’t easy

by Pumpkin on February 6, 2011

But it is full of surprise.

I found a job. Contract is in hand. We have become crazy looking for childcare solutions in a Canton that isn’t very supportive of women that would like to work.

The job is such a huge opportunity that I will do whatever it takes not to lose it before I even begin. I still can’t believe what a great job it is after all the waiting and struggling I have been through these past four years.

What helps stress better than anything else (besides sex)???

Chocolate!!!

If you live in Switzerland, you can go to the Cailler website to send a free bar of chocolate to your Valentine. There is a limited number so HURRY!  I have already sent one to Vilay and he was so sweet to send me one too.  Amazing how he can do that even while he is off snoring in the bedroom.  hehehe

Susan,
We will have to make plans when it is calmer around here. I hope that by this time next month we will be able to meet up somewhere!

Life’s showing a sunny face (so sorry for my bad english) ! Yep, happy for you ! You know, the entire country is not supportive concerning childcare :o(, but you’ll find a solution ! It’s also your time, now !

Your English is wonderful! I need to stop being so shy about writing in French!
We are finding that Bienne is a great city for children with two working parents. I called today and talked to someone about the before and after school program. It is now open to everyone and not in any way restricted as long as your children are in the Bienne school system. The kids can even eat lunch there. I love that my kids will start learning German (and hopefully some Swiss-German) right away.
Once we find a way to move to Bienne all my worries are over. Thankfully, my parents raised me to be a fighter. :D

Thanks everyone for your support! We are still ironing out all the obstacles but I am sure we will get through it in the end.
