Luc Arbogast singing in front of the Cathedral of Strasbourg

I was able to get a few photos of Luc Arbogast last week. He had a crowd of people around him as he sang songs from the 13th and 14th century. After asking the crowd to move closer to him and sit in a semi-circle, he sang with the crowd participating by teaching them to make a sound like an insect. It was magical.

He not only sings the songs, he tells the story and history behind each song. He spoke in French. However, I have read that one of his parents is German and he is fluent in German as well. It was a great treat to find this talented man singing and sharing songs from a time long past.

I was also on this place one day of July. But I think it is ten or eleven years ago. But I remember it as if it was yesterday. I was alos with guitarists there. From the course of Ferrette.
