Married with kids

We all have caught a little bug.

A bug that has crawled it’s way around the apartment infecting each one of us (minus Mr. Pie, comme d’habitude).

Thankfully, the bug in question is not the one that did a round at Sweet Bear’s school.

That bug missed my girl.

I was saved from having to spend money on lice shampoo and washing costs! Whew. However, it did not save me from the need to scratch my head just thinking about our near miss.

I would be willing to bet that after reading about lice at Sweet Bear’s school half of you are sitting at your computer screen with a deep need to scratch your heads. You can’t shake the feeling that little bugs are slowly crawling across your scalp.

All anyone has to do is mention lice and I must scratch. It is maddening.

The bug we have isn’t without scatchy.

We all have scratchy voices from the coughing and runny noses. Poor Sweet Bear has an ear infection.

It’s a good thing Sweet Bear is on Easter break this week. We have some time to get better before we have to venture out into all the snow that got dumped on us.

Today is the first day that it has stopped for any length of time. Winter had a good laugh. Now, it is time for Spring to kick Winter’s butt the heck out her season.

When I am really tired or sick I snore loudly. I know this because others tell me. However, I have been known to wake myself up with an especially deep snort or two. We all have. Only some of us will admit it.

In the middle of the night, I heard my dear hubby sit up on the edge of the bed. He scratched the back of his head and grumbled under his breath. With tired steps, he walked into the living room to sleep. This morning, I asked him why he was sleeping in the living room. He said my snoring was so loud sleep was impossible.

The good thing is I slept like a log and I feel much better today.

The bad thing is Mr. Pie looked a little haggard as he headed out to work.

It’s called being married with kids…And, a sick wife.

Argh! I often snore so loudly I wake myself up. My boyfriend says he doesn’t mind (we’ve only been dating 5 months, so we’ll see how long his “not minding” lasts). It’s so embarrassing. I think it helps to sleep on my side, rather than my back.

I hope you’re all feeling better soon.

Like Mother like daughter! Now you get payed back for making fun of me. Sounds like you snore as loud as me [if not louder]. Yes. Laughing I am. It’s your turn to have everyone making fun of all the noises you can make while asleep Love you, MOM

Buzzgirl, After almost seven years of marriage this was the first time Vilay actually left the bed due to my snoring! ;) I am pretty sick and I am sure I was sawing trees rather than logs….

Mom, You call what you do snoring. I call it a symphony like no other! :p

Tanya, When I was pregnate I did it more than often too…as well as after the babies were born. It is because we were exhausted! Our break has been kinda quiet starting off but it is a two week break so I am sure once we are all better we will get more outside fun in. I hope you and your family have a fun break. :)

I snore when I’ve been sick or had a bit too much to drink, but so does Nay. :) I’ve missed out and seeing you. Your feed must have changed or something.

M@, Drinking does it for me too. :)

I tried the WordPress feedsmith plugin but then I read it was not compatible with WordPress 2.5 so I uninstalled it. I bet something happened during all of that.

I am hoping that feedsmith will be updated and then I will upload it to my blog again. Or, I could try another one.
