We all have caught a little bug.
A bug that has crawled it’s way around the apartment infecting each one of us (minus Mr. Pie, comme d’habitude).
Thankfully, the bug in question is not the one that did a round at Sweet Bear’s school.
That bug missed my girl.
I was saved from having to spend money on lice shampoo and washing costs! Whew. However, it did not save me from the need to scratch my head just thinking about our near miss.
I would be willing to bet that after reading about lice at Sweet Bear’s school half of you are sitting at your computer screen with a deep need to scratch your heads. You can’t shake the feeling that little bugs are slowly crawling across your scalp.
All anyone has to do is mention lice and I must scratch. It is maddening.
The bug we have isn’t without scatchy.
We all have scratchy voices from the coughing and runny noses. Poor Sweet Bear has an ear infection.
It’s a good thing Sweet Bear is on Easter break this week. We have some time to get better before we have to venture out into all the snow that got dumped on us.
Today is the first day that it has stopped for any length of time. Winter had a good laugh. Now, it is time for Spring to kick Winter’s butt the heck out her season.
When I am really tired or sick I snore loudly. I know this because others tell me. However, I have been known to wake myself up with an especially deep snort or two. We all have. Only some of us will admit it.
In the middle of the night, I heard my dear hubby sit up on the edge of the bed. He scratched the back of his head and grumbled under his breath. With tired steps, he walked into the living room to sleep. This morning, I asked him why he was sleeping in the living room. He said my snoring was so loud sleep was impossible.
The good thing is I slept like a log and I feel much better today.
The bad thing is Mr. Pie looked a little haggard as he headed out to work.
It’s called being married with kids…And, a sick wife.
