We are visiting my in-laws in Strasbourg for Christmas. It has just started snowing here and I can see it falling in huge fluffy flakes. There wasn’t snow on the ground when we arrived yesterday afternoon but the trees and bushes were covered in frost. It is beautiful. We still haven’t went into the city. I am excited to see how much has changed in Strasbourg in the past seven months. I really missed being here for the Christmas market and am sad we missed it. The Jura in Switzerland has been covered in snow for weeks now and we watch people walking with skis and racquets. It is a different life than I have ever experienced before. I like it. In Switzerland, I don’t mind the snow and cold.
Our computer is dead. We don’t have any idea when we will be able to buy a new one. I hope by summer but I am not sure because we have some things we would like to do first. We want to move to a larger city because village life is not us. I love living in our village but can’t see us staying there for the rest of our life.
I will post at least once before we head back to Switzerland. We had a great Christmas and I hope all of you did as well.
I really miss you guys!

Hi Pumpkin,
I JUST discovered your AWESOME blog! I enjoy reading it! I have a special place in my heart for Switzerland, and reading a blog from an American living there- thats a pure pleasure. We lived in Germany for a while and now we are back in the US . Hope to come back to Europe again sometimes.
I am so sorry to hear that your computer died. I really hope you will be able to get a new one soon.
Happy Holidays!
Wishing you all the best!
Pumpkin, It’s so good to hear from you again, and I’m glad that you and your family are well. We do miss you and hope that it all works out for you soon, i.e. the move, the computer, etc.
