New template

I have found a template that I think is cleaner and easier to read.  Please, let me know if anyone has any problems with it.  I have checked it under Firefox and IE.

The beautiful picture of the bridge is not mine.  Therefore, I will be searching for a new header over the next few weeks that fits the new look.  I’ll be playing around with the camera trying to capture an image that sums up Pumpkin Pie.  Perhaps I will take a picture while in Florida this weekend that I can use.  Who knows…

We will be traveling to Florida to pick up a car that my uncle is letting us have at a great price.  I have some job opportunities lined up and the car will definately help.

I have been eating well…too well.  We had pizza last night and it was the best pizza I have had in over two years.  I never really liked pizza in France too much.  Even the one pizza I had in Italy did not come close to the American version.  Today we had 15 different kinds of bean soup.  Yummy.  Only a couple days back I was enjoying chili.  I think I have just about caught up on all my favorite foods from the States and will have to watch it or I will start gaining back all the weight I lost while living in France.

Welp…gotta go round up the kiddies for bed.  It is like a rodeo.  I have to pull out the lasso and hog tie them.  The only thing is I usually end up playing the rodeo clown!

Thank you, Pam. I really like this template. It is more me. I liked the other one but this one seems more open and light. It suits my personality more. I hope I get a great picture in Florida. Since I was born in Florida and we are planning on moving there in the next year…it seems appropriate.

Pumpkin, the new template is lovely…very clean and visually appealing. I really do like the photo, even if it is temporary…it embraces that mystical quality of late autumn that is around the corner! I hope you and your family are still settling into your new environment well.

We are settling in but anxious to find our own place and start our life. We will know more about moving to Florida after this weekend. Neither of us have been to Florida and we are excited to see if it looks like somewhere we would like to stay for at least 6 yesrs. :)

Pumpkin, somehow I thought you had lived in Florida part of the time growing up? – or am I getting you mixed up with someone else?

Anyway, I lived in South Florida (Boca Raton) for about 6 years during elementary and middle school. Central and Northern Florida are different from South Florida in a lot of ways, but it’s hard to explain. I guess the Northern and Central part are more of a “Southern” culture (and have a lot of farming as well) and South Florida tends to be a lot of people who are from the Northern U.S. This is just a generalization, though. Also the coasts are different. The Gulf Coast looks different than the Atlantic Coast.
