No ice cream for little monsters!

Sweet Bear had just dropped her ice cream on the ground. Her face says it all!
Petite Clown has a death grip on her ice cream. No chance of it getting away from her! Or maybe, she is just pretending she is on Star Academy and this ice cream is actually her microphone.

The other morning I woke up to the voice of Sweet Bear sternly whispering to Petite Clown, “Shhhhhhh, Mama!” I looked to see out the door of the room but the door was closed! Strange since I always leave it open so that I can wake up when I hear the two stinkers in the morning. It took two seconds for me to realize that Sweet Bear had closed the door on purpose to keep from waking me and that with her Shhhhing her little sis meant…I better get up and quick!

I jumped out of the bed and ran into the kitchen since this is where I thought the sound of her whispering voice had drifted from. Sure enough, there stood Sweet Bear on top of a kitchen chair with the door to the freezer wide open. She looked at me with a grin and asked in an angelic voice, “Ice cream, please? Sweet Bear lika ice cream.” I responded to her in a not so angelic voice, “It is around eight in the morning and little monsters don’t get ice cream in the morning. They get bread and water.”

Well, our little monsters get bread and juice would be more correct. I just liked the sound of bread and water better…like she is going to the monster prison and I will throw bread and water to her through the bars and laugh in an evil voice, “No more ice cream for you young lady!”

Then, I shut the freezer door quick before I was tempted to have some ice cream myself! You see she comes by her love of ice cream honest. Her mother is completely addicted. As you can see from the picture of Petite Clown above she is completely addicted to ice cream as well. Ohhhh…and, cookies. Just mention the word cookie and Petite Clown comes a runnin’ from outta nowhere asking over and over like a broken record, “Cookie, cookie, cookie?”
