Last year, La Chaux-de-fonds and Le Locle received recognition from UNESCO for outstanding universal value. These two cities that almost touch one another were built completely around and for watchmaking.
The Musée International d’Horloger is located in La Chaux-de-fonds. We still haven’t visited this museum dedicated to horology.
I can’t for the life of me figure out why since Vilay is passionate about his work (watchmaking). I think that this summer we will have to make a point to spend a long day exploring the museum.
