Photohunt: paper

by Pumpkin on September 23, 2007

A woman that my husband works with gave me several puzzles, a few books and a big plastic container full of Lego bricks, cars and people for my kids. Her grandchildren had outgrown the toys and she knew we had three little ones.

It was a welcome gift this past week. It helped me keep all the kids quiet indoors.

I love puzzles! They’re surprisingly expensive so that was a pretty good gift.

I love all the puzzles arranged, it makes a nice picture. I got a 3,000 piece Ravensberger puzzle that I gave up on. A friend sent me some 500 piece ones to start slow, ha. My child is grown up but I’ve heard working jigg saw puzzles is a great way to ward of alzheimer’s disease so I figured I’d give it a go.

I love doing puzzles with my kids. I have read that it is good to do crossword puzzles and word searches as well for alzheimer’s. It runs in my family. Both my great-grandmother and grandmother had it.
