We took the train to Zurich this past Saturday. The weather was gorgeous.
What I love most about Zurich are the windows and the little streets darting off everywhere. I could get lost in those little streets full of those beautifully painted windows.
Each time we visit a big city, I am left torn. Part of me loves the Jura while the other part longs for a big city life.
On the way back to the Zurich train station we discovered an English Bookshop, Orell Füssli The Bookshop. Vilay and I decided to buy Swiss Watching. I am currently reading the second chapter and have really enjoyed the book so far. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the Swiss or living in Switzerland. It is a must for anyone already here! Even after three years of living in Switzerland, I am finding this book to be a great resource.

Hi Pumpkin .. Seems that life is good and having fun :-) I totally understand about loving Jura but then wanting to get out and explore the fantastic cities! Looks so beautiful, love the coloured houses!
I really like Zurich. It is a great city to fill up a day.
I understand being torn between the city and a more rural area. In the end, I think children benefit from such wide open spaces. But after seeing your lovely pictures of Zurich I might change my mind ;)
I don’t think I could live in Zurich. Perhaps, it is too big. Maybe…Sion???
