School is the tops

My girls each made a top at school during their first week there.

The past week my five year old went in the mornings and my four year old went in the afternoons. Starting Monday, they will be on their regular schedule but only starting gym class the following week. Apparently, my five year old will go to gym twice a week. One day with her sister and another night with the kids in her group and the children a year older than her that are now going to the elementary school.

The girls are excited to go to school together. They will be together except for one day a week. My five year old will go three days a week for the entire day and have two half days. My four year old goes five days a week for half a day some days in the morning and some in the afternoon.

I was afraid they may not do well together but I can sense that they feel more secure going to school knowing that they can lean on each other and share friends.

Both girls agree that school is the tops!
