I love the box for our Old Maid cards.
Notice how the man’s arms get longer as you slide the box open.
When I was a kid we played Old Maid with a regular deck of 52 cards. No matter what type of cards you play with, it is a fun game to pass the time away with kids.
The Old Maid card game is called jeu du Pierre Noir – game of Black Peter or Vieux Garçon – Old Boy in French. It is Schwarzer Peter in German which is Black Peter in English.
We have passed through a pretty boring weekend. I am happy about that after all the excitement we have had the past few weeks.

BTW, I am glad that your cat has recovered. We have 5 cats. I know that’s a lot but they are all rescued cats. They become part of your family.

Nothing exciting here either. I’ve been so bad at blogging. I’ve had my computer out of commission for two weeks now. When I check out your blog, I miss Switzerland… :)
