We took a walk in the rain yesterday. I drug out the winter coats for the kids which are waterproof and warm. With the rain it is starting to get cold outside.
Last night, we shut our bedroom window for the first time in months.
What the mountains look like during a light rain.
Wet leaves littered the ground.
We saw two horse and wagons go by with Swiss German tourists.
When it rains the slugs come out to visit.
This slug had a small audience.
There weren’t many cows out but the horses that we see on our regular walk were still there.
I don’t know of any child that can resist jumping in a puddle. As a mother, it doesn’t bother me as long as they don’t splatter me during their jumping fest.
My children collected leaves that they found on the way.
As soon as we came through the door I started to warm the milk. Afterwards, I helped my little ones pull off wet coats and pants. They drank their hot chocolate at the table in their shirts and underwear with a side of bright happy smiles.

Hi Bridget!
Don’t worry I had the kids bundled up pretty good and they were nice and warm when we got home. :)
It is beautiful here in Switzerland. We are lucky to live it every day.
Looks like you had fun in the rain!
Happy blogoversary!
Tenna,
We did! Thank you for reminding me of my blogoversary. Every year I almost forget about it completely! :)
those were such beautiful photos! I think we are gearing up for the first rain in almost a month!
A month without rain! That NEVER happens here…well, unless when it is snowing!
You photos are really getting good!
