Oh my goodness..that is a lot of snow…and very early indeed. There has been snow in some parts of the UK already as well, but none in Oxfordshire yet!!
That is a lot earlier than 2007, isn’t it!!
Hello Anne!
I did read on a couple blogs that it snowed in some parts of the UK. It has snowed here once already this year on the 4th of October.

However, there wasn’t so much snow. Last year, the first snow was on November the 9th which is a month later than this year’s first snow and a couple weeks after today’s big snow.
Today, it has snowed here all day long. :)
Hi!
I thought about you!
Last evening I was listening to Couleur 3, do you ever listen to this radio, it’s great (no advertisement), anyway, they said it was going to snow at 800 metres and I said oh oh looks like they’re going to be covered.
We didn’t get any snow here but my kids were bouncing off the wall, today, they were crazy.
Hey Pumpkin
I hope you’ll have a white christmas and a black president soon…!
Sissi,
I saw that you got some snow yesterday. I bet your children are excited to play in the snow.
It snowed here yesterday and already today! I haven’t listened to Couleur 3 but will check it out now.
SwissGuy,
Don’t forget he is half white. ;) But, I agree with you that it is something to have a president that is not the typical rich white American man. I, also, like that obama’s father is from another country and that Obama himself has lived outside the States. If he gets it I think he will be a great president…one of the best we have ever had.
