Snowy Jura

On Sunday, we took a walk before dinner.  It felt good to get out and feel the snow crunching under our feet.

I made homemade apple pie that the kids enjoyed helping me decorate. My favorite is my six year old’s happy face. It came out of the oven looking like it was winking at everyone.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the giveaway.  I hope to have more giveaways in the future such as personalized postcards, photos or perhaps some Swiss chocolate.

It is my way of thanking all of you for your friendship and support over the past few years.

Love reading your blog, your photos are great, but they make me feel cold :-)…especially the one with the bike and thick snow..!!!

    Anne,
It was very cold Sunday. The wind made it almost unbearable. It was a bit better today but it was still kinda nippy.

    Expatraveler,
I love the snow because it makes the village look so different and I see things I didn’t see before.
You have to try because I will be honest…it isn’t hard to make and it is so good! Baking calms me and then I am double rewarded because I get to eat it.

    Susie,
It is like a winter wonderland here right now. I love it.

    Hello John!

    Thank you.
All of the photos in my header were taken by me. The rotating header images are coded into the WordPress theme that I use. All I had to do was crop the photos and ftp them to my server. I love the WordPress community.
