Spring air

We got a walk in yesterday. It was so nice. The kids rode their bikes and they loved it.

We were headed home full of happiness only to be told by someone that they didn’t get their bike out today because it was too cold. She actually told me that with my kids riding along on theirs without even a jacket.

What my kids were wearing were the biggest grins.

I told her we felt it wasn’t so cold and were enjoying a very beautiful day.  :)

Funny how many people in small villages live to judge others.  They seriously need to get out of the village more and LIVE their life.

Just sayin’.

I love these photos! I also love the line about wearing grins. It’s amazing how much warmer you feel when you’re smiling, and having fun. The person who commented to you about coats, obviously wasn’t wearing a smile or having a good day !

It was funny because it really wasn’t cold out. I had on a light jacket and ended up unzipping it because I got warm.

Smiling and good clean mountain air are the best medicines I can think of. We have an abundance of both in our lives. :)

You’ve certainly been judging these judges for a while now. Perhaps they’re not trying to be judgmental jerks, but are just trying to show their concern about something. I don’t know anything about it, but that’s just a consideration that people express their concern about people in very different ways.

I use this blog to vent sometimes and that is what you are reading. You are reading my venting when I am seriously fed up with trying to convince myself that they aren’t being jerks. However, I know they are after living here three years. If that makes me judgemental then I guess I am. I try not to be but no one is perfect.

At least I don’t make a point to tell everyone all the negative things I think about them like they do…Or everyone else just after they leave the trainstation…like they do. I just vent here. Some of their comments about some of the others that seem like such nice people are just so mean. I don’t talk about those comments here because they are not about my family or myself. I bite my tongue at least three times a week because it just isn’t worth my energy to even try to tell them how they are wrong. They would never see it.

How awesome, I think that you guys are the best for enjoying the natural outdoors and letting your kids be kids just like you used to experience. Too many people these days don’t let their kids play outside!!!

The pics are incredible. My favs are the first, and the one with Valey’s Swiss bag.. How far do you guys normally go on a walk like this? Lovely!

As far as venting, this is the perfect place to do it – vent away! I am a random reader of your blog, but I can’t help but notice that you are feeling more confident in yourself, who you are – and that is a healthy thing. I pray that this renewed confidence continues to grow and bloom.

Wow! Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your blog, really takes me back. I was an exchange student en Suisse and your pictures always make me remember the beautiful, amazing parts of that country that make me want to go back. Have une très belle journée :)
