I found a gallery of photos of several glamorous stars shown with and without makeup. Some of the images are scary because the contrast between makeup vs. no makeup is HUGE.
It really makes you think about what is beauty and what is not.
After seeing these stars without makeup, I had to ask myself why we buy into this fake image. All we are doing is creating a lie that no one can live up to without the help of talented professionals.
When I first moved to France one of the first things I noticed was that women on tv didn’t look so ‘perfect’. They looked real. Sadly, these same women on the news or talk shows are becoming more and more flawless due to the use of makeup.
I prefer them as they were before.

Even if I am not flawless, I don’t look so bad compared to the world’s most beautiful women without the magic of their makeup artists.
I am challenging all my female readers to compare the photos of these stars to a photo of themselves without makeup.
I am sure that all of you are naturally as beautiful if not more beautiful than these stars are without the wonders of lots and lots of makeup.
When you look at a photo of a star never compare yourself to it. That photo is not real.

Wow, it sure is make you feel better about having a bad day! I have come to the realization that NO WOMEN have an oustanding glorious flawless beauty, some women are better looking than others but NO ONE look like a born supermodel.
The stylist, the colorist, the make up artist, photoshop, airbrush , picture editing ( for the movies), anyone can be fantastic, they are the one to thank for their image.
When I see or hear some women admiring one’s ( star) beauty I want to punch them in the head so they understand they are not real.
There are tons of stuff I would like to change about me,funny thing is I am doing my photos album and I have been looking at a bunch of my pics and I thought ” I don’t look half bad on some of them being “au naturel” not photoshoped and so forth…I would love to see how i could look with the “helpers”.
I don’t have a problem with women enhancing their features, I do have a problem when they are lying about it.

That is a group of women I would not want to run into in a dark alley. It’s sad how shallow we have become that we can’t look at a person and see them as attractive with out all the help. What’s worse is that most people buy into that fantasy.
Most women are beautiful in their natural state.

What is funny is most men will tell you that they prefer their wives or girlfriends with little or no makeup. :)

I agree. I think we put these women up as an example of what is attractive and they aren’t in truth any more attractive than the average housewife without all that makeup.
