It is COLD outside. So, we have been staying indoors looking at books, playing games and keeping warm.
I miss our big blue skies that we usually have here in the Jura. The sky has been grey all day long in preparation for the snow we are to get tomorrow.
Tomorrow…come rain or snow, I will [...]

Since we have brought home Emmie Cat, the chestnuts have dwindled down from about twenty to two.
She chased this chestnut around the living room for about half an hour.
She kept an eye on the chestnut even after she was too tired [...]

My son kept asking me to give him strips of tape. I didn’t know what he was making. He came up to me and showed me his creation that he made with a marker, toilet paper roll and some tape. I asked him what it was. He told me drapeau (flag).

Cup and saucer given to us by my husband’s aunt and uncle in Prague. These cat decorations are seen all over Prague. I love the whimsical feeling and the bright spring colors.
Saucer alone.
Cup alone.
We moved into our apartment [...]

Saturday, we went to Bienne to enjoy a warm day in the city.
We walked quite a lot and ended up in a Nidau, a neighboring city that touches Bienne. While we were enjoying the birds singing in an otherwise quiet residential area, I saw about thirty wooden planks (like [...]

Since about three days ago I have had this overwhelming need to go out and snatch myself a cat.
We had a cat who was this huge tan and grey tiger. She has been living with my brother since Sweet Bear was born. After the birth of Sweet Bear, our cat began peeing on [...]
