Singing in the rain


We took a walk in the rain yesterday. I drug out the winter coats for the kids which are waterproof and warm. With the rain it is starting to get cold outside.  
Last night, we shut our bedroom window for the first time in months.

La grêle (hail)


Two days ago, we had a huge storm. It had threatened to rain all day. Around dinner time the hail started without much warning. Luckily, I had taken down my laundry from the lines outside only an hour before.

The kids had a blast walking to and from the bus stop today.
The entertainment?
Worms.
Worm after worm dotted the walk because of the rain.
In the photo above, Petite Clown almost squished one. She looked up at me with a big smile and said, “Boy, that was a close one!”, in perfect English.

Pirate rain boots


…for navigating the waters of life.

The back of the rain boots have reflectors for safe navigation!
We found these rain boots at Dosenbach (a shoe store) where I found my comfy Swiss slippers about a month ago. We have bought many of our families shoes and boots there since moving to Switzerland.
