Today started off cold and gray.
It ended up cold with a big blue sky.
My youngest daughter and son went on a walk with me this afternoon. We walked a little and then we sat on a bench with an incredible view (shown above).
The sun warmed our bodies and I hope it killed some sick [...]

My life
My life is not what I dreamed it would be when I was growing up.
I didn’t find success in a career as I thought I would. I don’t have the big house with the white pick fence I once dreamed of.
Life has been much harder and at times more desperate than I could have [...]

Last week’s beautiful snow
Today, it is warm enough that I had to remove my scarf and coat while waiting at the bus stop for the girls. It is hard to believe that only last week we were covered in snow. The sun is quickly melting the few patches of beautiful snow that remain as a reminder [...]
Our Morning
Our Fridays start out with getting the girls off to school and then my son and I come home to spend some time together and play with the kitten. Sun and snow
It is so beautiful that I find myself stopping several times during a short walk to try to take it all in. It isn’t just me that has slowed down with the arrival of the snow. My children can’t walk without diving into the snow every few yards or wading knee deep before they stop [...]

Free range chickens in our village
These chickens are free to go all around the front and back yard of this house. They cross the small side street over to another other house where they then peck around the front and back of that yard. I have seen them in the parking lot behind one of these houses and often times they are [...]
Friday morning walk
I didn’t feel well last night and went to bed early. After I slipped into my bed and hugged my pillow I soon fell fast asleep. This morning, I woke easily.
The light is warm and sweet making everything brighter.
I feel rested and strong.
I want to scream out Happy Glorious Friday!
I wish you [...]
An afternoon in the city
We took the train to Bienne on Sunday. It was nice to get out of the Jura for the day. We didn’t actually visit Bienne much but walked to Nidau which touches Bienne.
We ate sandwiches by the fountain in Bienne before walking to Nidau.
A leaf caught in a web. It looks like [...]
