We took the train to Bienne on Sunday. It was nice to get out of the Jura for the day. We didn’t actually visit Bienne much but walked to Nidau which touches Bienne.
We ate sandwiches by the fountain in Bienne before walking to Nidau.

Saturday, we took a walk from Le Creux-des-Biches to Les Bois. It was one of the most beautiful walks we have taken yet. There wasn’t a lot of hill climbing but the views were impressive. As usual, I had the feeling I was walking on top of the world.

Saint Vitus’s Cathedral is the most important church in the Czech Republic. The cathedral is located entirely inside the walls of Prague Castle. This cathedral reminded me of Strasbourg Cathedral due to the beautiful gothic architecture.

After crossing the border from Germany into the Czech Republic I was surprised to see huge billboard ads on the side of the road. It reminded me of the States. In France, Germany and Switzerland I have never seen these type of billboards on the sides of the highways.

The photo above was taken in a Czech café located in Prague. It was one of the very few places to eat that we could find were the prices were fair. The food and coffee were good and the restrooms were free which is a HUGE deal in Prague. [...]
