Twirl

by Pumpkin on October 14, 2008

The wind blew some hay up into the air twirling it around and around right in front of my eyes.  It was like a mini tornado.  At first I was afraid that I would get caught up in it.  But, I didn’t.  I stood just near it impressed by the strength of nature even in this tiny form.

I love when things like that happen.  When I am walking along in life and then all of a sudden something forces me to stop and take notice of the moment.

It lasted only a few minutes.  However, I reflected on that moment throughout the day.  I thought about how we don’t know what will happen no matter how much we plan and work to make life ours.  We are still a part of this world and nothing is really in our control.

Once again, Nature reminded me I am but a small part of something bigger.

Love the twirl!!! Great pics, even if it was in the wind! :)

It was much better in person. It was like a mini tornado and at first I started to run because it scared me. It was stronger than a typical whirl of leaves which made it special.
