They are dumping tons of pollutants into the air and who knows what else. I don't agree that we should stop worrying about protecting our environment and enjoy it. If we don't change the direction we are going there won't be a beautiful natural environment left to enjoy. I think we can do both. Also, doesn't it occur to anybody else that though the empirical evidence for global warming has been around for years, nobody has talked about forcing the corporations to clean up, even though it is their products and manufacturing (that seem to only be getting more toxic by the way) that has caused the position we are in. So why are all of us common people being targeted by the "green up" campaingn? You wanna do something to lessen your impact on the world- take "bucket" showers and quit driving your car all over town. Since someone in our family has a problem with headaches, we are putting off getting them until we absolutely have to. They can't be easily disposed of, if they break they have to be treated as hazardous waste. So we will probably keep the ones we have for now, but I won't be replacing others for now.
