Vilay made a movie of a boat coming into the port of Ouchy which touches Lausanne, Switzerland. Close to the end you can hear Petite Clown talking.She said, “Papa, on est presque fini.” In English, “Papa, we are almost done.” She was talking to Vilay about the lollipops that he had bought Petite Clown and Sweet Bear.
It’s funny how kids get so excited over little things like eating a sucker (une sucette). I thought it was cute that she felt it was so important that they were almost done with their lollipops that she had to share this fact with her Papa. I don’t even think he heard her he was so engrossed in capturing the boat on the camera.
The girls kept talking back and forth about this very interesting subject for about an hour. It was a kid conversation comparable to grown ups talking about a nice bottle of wine.

Wow, I’m so jealous of your life there! What a cool adventure! I moved 3000 miles from my home and never could imagine leaving the US, but it’s looking very appealing! I’ll have to check back and live vicariously through you!
