Views from the Espacité tower in La Chaux-de-fonds

We went to La Chaux-de-fonds to buy ink for our printer and sunglasses all of us. The sun is very strong when it reflects off the snow. It is almost unbearable. Over the last year, each one of us has either lost or broken our old sunglasses and we couldn’t go one more weekend without some.

Whenever we have time to go to the top of the Espacité tower in La Chaux, we do.  Below are some of the photos we took while we were there.  The sky was so blue with huge white clouds and the city was powered in freshly fallen snow.

It was just beautiful.

If you ever find yourself in La Chaux-de-fonds you must go to the Espacité tower for the view. Conveniently, the office of tourism for the city is located on the ground floor.

wow – those are incredible photos and it sounds like such a fun trip! I was indoors swimming all day today. Time flies way too quickly that way…

I don’t like La Chaux-de-Fonds that much, but under snow, it looks more pretty. Your pictures of the clouds/sky are great !
It seems you move a lot…, you’ll soon know this country better than I do :o)

I like La Chaux for shopping and the zoo is nice with the kids but it really isn’t a pretty city. I hope this summer we will be albe to stay a few days in the Alps with the kids. I love Switzerland. It is so beautiful and we are so lucky to be able to explore it.
