Walk this way…

We took an hour walk around the village before lunch. It was a bit chilly outside. We hope that soon it will be warmer.

No matter, the walk was still perfect.

A ant colony that we have watched for three years through all the seasons. It is as interesting for Vilay and I as it is for the children.

My youngest daughter wanted to take her baby out in the stroller. She had to carry her stroller at this part of the road due to mud. It reminded me of our first year here in the Jura and I would have to carry her or her brother in their strollers over something that looked like mud (but wasn’t) on our long walks.

My son is getting so big. He now will talk about going to school with a smile. He is still afraid but he is a big brave boy. :)

Yellow meadow.

Our village church.

Typical house in our village with a Swiss flag that stopped flapping just as I took this picture.

Today, I could really see the layers of the mountains. It was so beautiful.

The fields have been sprayed with a liquid fertilizer.

I will share the rest of the photos from our walk tomorrow.  :)

Have a great rest of your weekend!!!
