Hi I found you on Chez Loulou's blog...I am overjoyed, as we are trying to make our minds up about going to Prague. Personally I don;t know anyone that has been there..

I will put you in my blog roll, if that is ok, and will read more.

Great photo's, will show my husband :-)

Anna,
My kids don't speak Czech but my three year old son was starting to pick it up according to my Inlaws. However, I didn't hear him say any Czech words. ;)

The kids played together even if they didn't understand one another. The youngest son of my husband's cousin did understand some English since he is going to a school that teaches English at a young age.

Looks really great! I've not been there so far, but Prague is definitely on my list of cities to visit.
Pumpkin, do your children speak Czech too? I just wondered, as they played with their cousins and your children are already bilingual.

Awesome pictures in the post and in earlier posts as I've browsed through your site! (I think I came here when I did a search for "Thinking Thursdays." I wanted to see if it's a 'meme' somewhere or not.)

Anyway, I'm trying not to be jealous of you living in Switzerland. I've visited there when my dad was in Germany (in the late '70s and again in the early '90s). Wow! I *love* Switzerland, but I'm sure it has its quirks, too. So, I may be 'lurking' around a bit, if that's okay... simply because I enjoy the pictures of life in Europe. :)

Hello Elen! Thank you for stoppig by.
The weather was beautiful the first day in Prague but it wasn't as warm the rest of the week. However, it was perfect for walking around. I did get some beautiful photos of Prague but I felt like I missed so much. I really wish I had a better camera. :)

My husband and I talked about how hard it must be for the Czech because even the regular grocery stores seemed expensive. We went to one of the Ikeas in Prague and it was more expensive on average than the Ikea in Strasbourg, France. I don't understand why it is like that and don't think it is fair to the Czech.
