Yogourt from the Fromagerie des Reussilles

by Pumpkin on March 10, 2009

I have passed by the Fromagerie des Reussilles on the train so many times I could never count them. Vilay and I have wanted to try their products since we first saw that we had a fromagerie near our village.  Some weeks ago, we were at the dairy store in our village (yes, we do have a dairy store in our tiny village!) and I found these little treasures.

They were good.  Very good.

We will be back to buy more that is sure. However, at a little over 1 chf each we won’t be buying them often.

I’ve got my eye on the cherry! I love how you guys have seasonal yogurts at most stores, but supporting local is so awesome! I love all of the artwork that went into the product too. :)

I know…I was impressed with the design of the label as well. :)

OH! you have to try the brand I bought this week end! Delicious! Even my husband, not a big yogourt eater or dairy lover, is addicted to them.
I’ve found them at Denner (the discounted supermarket), they’re pricey too (.95 CHF) so I’ve bought just a few for the family to try but they’re good!
The brand is Emmi (like your cat!) and the name of the yogurt is Toni.

They have a website: emmi.ch

It’s Toni in a glass pot, apparently they’re famous! I didn’t know.

The next time I am near a Denner I will make sure to buy some. I still miss French yogourts like crazy.
