I know Peter answers secret…do you?

Angel told me about peteranswers.com an Interactive Souls Engine. On this website you can ask Peter any question you want and he will answer you. Correctly. She was all freaked out about how Peter is always right no matter what question someone asked.

Kids would ask what color shirt someone had on or if someone had a crush on someone else. Somehow, Peter knew birthdays, who had a crush on who and shirt colors. Peter was the expert on everything.

Peter told Angel that he knew a secret about her. The secret was that she is gay. All of her friends were standing around the computer and her. Peter had just told all of them things that he couldn’t have known if he weren’t real. Now, he is telling Angel that he knows that she is hiding that she is gay.

It crushed me to think about how embarrassed she must have been even if it isn’t true because Peter is never wrong.

I explained to her it is a computer program. But, she said it can’t be that because Peter is always right. I told her there is an explanation but we have to find it. I got online and started googling Peter answers.

It took two seconds to find out that Peter is a fake.

It will take a little longer for Angel to recover from the mean sting a friend has given her saying that she is gay. Kids are mean. But, I know my girl is strong. Besides, now she knows Peter’s secret.

She knows the truth about Peter and she can use it.

Peter is a program that feeds off answers someone else plugs in. Peter doesn’t know anything.

Peter is an online parrot.

Click here to visit Chris Wondra.com and learn Peter’s secret.

I found an online tutorial.  You can watch it here.

By the way, I asked Peter why he was so annoying. He told me someone was waiting for me outside. I think Peter has issues.

Geez, I had never heard of this. How creepy. So sad that kids are latching onto it and doing mischief.
It’s great that you were able to de-bunk it immediately for her.

I thought it was creepy, too. I am happy she told me about it and I was able to find out and prove that it is a fake so quickly.

I’m glad you found the answers you were looking for so quickly–without any help from peter I might add.

It is amazing how far this little prank has spread. I easily get over 1000 hits a day on that page. That’s hundreds of thousands of people a year that are trying to figure this out.

Some leave comments. Kids can be mean. Now Angel knows the truth.

It was a great opportunity for you to teach a valuable life lesson. I’m honored and humbled to have played a small part in that.

Chris, I am so happy you wrote that post. It was clear and easy to understand how Peter answers works. I enjoyed reading the teacher perspective as well.

I called my daughter yesterday and explained it all to her. I also sent her an email with a link to your page. She is currently living with her father in the States while I live here in Switzerland.

I just came back from school, and I witnessed some guys in our class using Peter Answers. I knew it was bogus from the start, until it said my name, and my home town. I’m relieved to know its fake, the guy just typed my name in secret in the petition box. That is a bad site, it should be taken off.

I’m happy that you are a smart kid and looked up how it works! I think it can be used by kids to make other kids uncomfortable like with my oldest daughter. The best way to beat it is to do it back to them and then show everyone how it works. :)
