I think you also have to be sure you are doing what makes you happy or at least set yourself up for that in some way.
Just go for it! Life is too short not to live it to it’s fullest! From what I’ve seen, you have a very strong will, you’re smart and you are a hard worker. It seems like you have a great support from your wonderful family, and if it doesn’t work out- you have them to fall back on :-)
I get the feeling that you are thinking about it too much. Too many people do too many things which dont make them happy…. just do it. The rest will fall into place.
