Sweet Bear loves to sing her favorite song she learned at l’ecole enfantine, Un petit bonhomme.
Un petit bonhomm’ s’en allant au bois
Quand il revenait il disait chaqu’fois
Atchoum! atchoum! atchoum! atchoum! atchoum!
People are people the world over

Her accent is so adorable. So my question to you is, do you ever think you will acquire more of a French/Swiss speaking accent or are you doomed forever to be recognized as the “etranger”.. This isn’t meant to be offensive, just what I witnessed with my own accent when I speak French..
I think I will always speak French with an American accent. However, there are times my accent is less noticable than others. If I am saying words or phrases that I am comfortable with then my accent is less noticable.
I don’t know if I will pick up the Swiss accent or not. I still speak French with a French accent on top of a thick American one. But, I do speak slower more like the Swiss. :)
I need to do a video with me talking in French. Maybe I can tape a conversation with my kids. Me in French and them answering in English because they never speak French with me even if I speak French to them.
